The Battle Conservation Area was designated in 1971 and was, most recently, re-appraised in February 2006.

Bexhill Old Town

The Bexhill Old Town Conservation Area was designated in October 1975.

Bexhill Town Centre

The Bexhill Town Centre Conservation Area was designated in 1992 and was, most recently, re-appraised in February 2004.

Burwash

The Burwash Conservation Area was designated in August 1968 and revised in August 1969.

Northiam

The Northiam Conservation Area was designated in March 1989.

Robertsbridge & Northbridge Street

The Robertsbridge Conservation Area was designated in 1968 and was, most recently, re-appraised in September 2009 at which point the Conservation Area was expanded to include Northbridge Street.

Rye

The Rye Conservation Area was designated in 1968 and was, most recently, re-appraised in November 2006.

Sedlescombe

The Sedlescombe Conservation Area was designated in June 2004.

Ticehurst

The Ticehurst Conservation Area was designated in December 1990.

Winchelsea

The Winchelsea Conservation Area was designated in September 1969 and was, most recently, re-appraised in March 2008.

Open Digital Planning Data

This dataset shows the locations of conservation areas. Conservation areas are designated to safeguard areas of special architectural and historic interest, the character and appearance of which it is desirable to preserve or enhance. Within these areas special planning controls operate which need to be considered when undertaking development.

The data is provided under the Open Government Licence.
