A person could be homeless if they:

  • have no home in the UK, or elsewhere that they have a legal right to occupy
  • you’re at risk from harm if you stay in your current home
  • have a movable homes such as a boat or caravan and there is nowhere it can be placed lawfully

A person is at risk of being homeless if they:

  • are likely to become homeless in 56 days
  • have received a valid notice to quit (S21 notice)
  • have received a notice that landlord requires possession of accommodation (NOSP) which expires within 56 days

In order to speak to a homelessness adviser, you will need to complete the Housing Assessment Procedure by clicking on ‘Complete the Housing Options Assessment Form’ below. The form is part one of a two-part process and will determine whether you are eligible to see a Housing Officer.
 
Once you have completed the form you will then be required to complete part two of the process. Details of part two will be given once the assessment form is completed.
