Probity in Planning

The Members' planning code of good practice is a guide issued to Members involved in the planning process at Rother.

It provides guidance on how Members can maintain standards as Members of the Local Planning Authority. The guidance includes how Members should handle contact with Applicants, Developers and Objectors so that information is properly taken into account without prejudicing their impartiality. The aim of the code being to ensure that decisions made in the planning process are not biased but made openly, impartially, and with sound judgement.
