Rother District Council does not operate a commercial waste collection service.
Our previous waste contractor The Kier Group sold their commercial waste operation to BIFFA Waste Services Limited in 2018. BIFFA or another reputable waste provider can provide a quote for commercial waste and recycling service to businesses in the Rother area.
- Biffa Municipal is the appointed contractor for waste, recycling collections and street and beach cleaning in Rother. Biffa were awarded the contract in January 2019 and they commenced operations on 29th June 2019. The Contract duration is 7 years with the option of an extension for a further 7 years.
- Veolia Environmental Services are responsible for managing all collected household waste from East Sussex and Brighton and Hove. You can arrange to visit some of the sites that our waste goes to on Veolia’s website
