Street Collections

Street Collections

To collect money or sell articles for the benefit of charitable or other purposes in Rother, you need to apply to us for a Street Collection licence.

Please note that conditions have been changed so that licences will only be approved for charities registered with the Charity Commission or known locally.  Only one collection will be allowed in any one area per day and that 50% of the whole profits go to the charity.

Please read our pdf icon Street Collection Procedures [196kb].

Regulation summary

A Summary of Street Collection Regulations has been produced by The National Archives.

We have also produced our own copy of pdf icon Street Collection Licence Regulations [27kb]
