We are working with other East Sussex Councils and provide a free winter home check service, which may also be able to fund improvements to your home.

For help keeping you warm in your home please visit Keep Warm and Well in East Sussex

Eligible households can get grants for help with home insulation and new heating systems. First step, you need to ask for a Free Winter Home Check which is available all year.

The Council has signed a flexible  pdf icon Eligibility Statement of Intent [551kb] which just means you may be able to apply for additional help from energy companies, after you have had a winter home check.
